Fridays September 24 , 2010

Today during silent reading in Hamiltons class I read a book called IT WAS ON FIRE WHEN I LAY DOWN ON IT by ROBERT FULGHUM this book is about a mother who is very thrilled that her daughter is getting married, her mother is the one that is planning everything, the bide had a couple of snacks before the wedding and when she was walking down the isle the bride throws up, and the mother ends up fainting on the floor..thats about as far as i got into the book! :)

Today in expository reading and writhing Mr. Hamilton mentioned to us that the first sentence determines the direction of your paragraph. We revised a few topic sentences that were not good enough and made them sound professional. Today we also remembering that we need to have ONE TOPIC SENTENCE PER PARAGRAPH!
